3/2: Happy Monday!
Welcome to March. 🍀💚
Hello, and happy March!
This year is already flying by! I’m off to Switzerland today (Arosa & St. Moritz!) for a press trip, and will most likely be a bit OOO this week so I can properly enjoy it. I’ll be back in New York for a few days afterward and will be much more available to connect.
In the meantime, here’s what I’m looking for:
Media Opps
I’m writing a few pieces on under-the-radar NYC restaurants with great stories behind them: think passionate owners, unique concepts, family legacies, or spots doing something interesting that deserve more attention. If you have a favorite hidden gem (please, nothing viral on TikTok) or know someone I should talk to, I’d love to hear about it.
As always, I’m pitching Travel + Leisure new luxury hotel openings. (If you’ve already pitched an editor there, please don’t pitch me the same info!)
I’m looking for the best luxury boutique hotels in the DC area (mainly Arlington, VA) for an upcoming story. Reach out to me with clients!
I’m looking for unique domestic travel trends to pitch Travel + Leisure. Send me what you’ve got!
I’m focused on new NYC restaurant openings, creative chef collaborations, and emerging dining trends in the city for Eater. If you’ve noticed something interesting happening in the NYC food scene, I want to hear about it.
I’m pitching new restaurant openings to Resy New York. Please let me know if you work with any clients on the platform.

A few things to note:
When reaching out about a pitch in this newsletter, please don’t reply directly to this email—there’s a good chance it’ll get lost in my inbox. Instead, please send a separate email with ‘Substack’ in the headline to make sure I see it.
For those who don’t have it, my email is laurennharano@gmail.com. (Double ‘n,’ for Nicole!)
When pitching hotels, please make sure to always include a link to the hotel’s press images. This will really help streamline the process if I’m able to write about the property.

I’m traveling this week, but I’ll be back in New York for a few days after. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat about a new or exciting client!
As always, have a great week, and thank you for your support. xx
